just came back from a 3 day trip to bintan (wed-fri).. haha! it was really fun.. but kinda tired now, so i wun blog rite now.. meanwhile, enjoy this.. ;)

this sunday was one of the 'busiest' i had for quite a while.. usually my sundays are more personal days..

anw, the day started with breakfast at an unearthly hour of 9+ at parkway coffeebean with the zoo gang. well, zoo cuz of just one feifei actually (feifei = baboon). anws, tt was my yummy breakfast! salmon and egg muffin.. the muffin is so amusing.. someone cut a hole in the bread so the sunnyside up pops thru! haha. and there were tomatoes and cranberries too! :D

butbutbut.. took a while to get my food cuz some pple.. *coughcough* always take so long to reach. those pple, forever making me yanxin and cass wait. pui!

there's the feifei.. still got the cheek to pose for the camera after arriving late... *glares*

so after a really long breakfast - like till 1230.. filled with random comments by cass (?!), bitchy comments by chris and gary, and just stories to catch up with each other. in response to chris' leprosy comment on gary(acne), gary examined chris' hair and pondered LOUDLY, i am still amazed how come each of your hair can have so MANY split ends.

chris left for tuition (to teach 2 chinamamas whom she seemingly detests, but anw), and the 5 of us went for lunch.. and of course, what we did or said is secret.. it was all the dirt on the person above.. muahaha. after tt, we proceeded to ktv! haha, it almost seems like our favourite activity.. maybe it was cuz we were too tired to do much else. well, it is afterall, feifei's fav activity..

she is damn bitchy, kept bitching abt roys' singing. and i am luckily i sit next to her, else, i bet she would be bitching to someone else abt my singing if i am out of earshot.. :X i think her karma theory is gonna materialize soon.. hope i dun read in the news tt a monster truck banged a house down, n a 'mei niu' was found dead in the house. :X

yup.. was a long, but fun day, and i hope we continue to meet up! (:

next part of the day, was east coast.. i didn't join the peeps for rollerblading - cuz i dun really like it, plus i was with the pple above. but i felt free to use the rollerblading photos to extrapolate what happened.. (A)

anw, hols are here! and i've started spending alot already.. :X set myself back a hundred today buying a jacket. oh man.. i need to save more blingbling!! been going shopping.. was with ian, pooja, claire, aud, brandon, yl, anna.. too many pple.. not conducive for shopping. ytd was with weili,claire,aud.. but i wasn't feeling like shopping. ahh wells.

anw, i cut my hair! so far, its elicited v different responses. either: i dun like it, or you finally cut your hair! you look better now. hmmm, i've no idea whether it looks better or not, just tt its v different. well, i told my hairdresser i wanted a change, so he gave me one.. ;)

no idea why i've been feeling lethagic and not v sociable these few days.. or maybe even longer. just feel like having quiet time by myself.. sch can be too 'interactive' for me at times. haha. oh well, guess these few days of hols will give me a chance to rest, though it appears i only have tues left to do tt.

parents bought lotsa mooncakes today! yum. the crispy yam one is super good. it was made fresh, crisp and warm when i bought it. just ate some at home.. and it really was irresistable. rich yam paste, tt wasn't too sweet, with light and flaky outer pastry.. :) then of course, the famous goodwoodpark durian mooncakes! i really love chinese new year and mid autumn festival goodies!

vacations are approaching.. am happily awaiting their arrival.. :)

meanwhile days haven't been too stressful i guess, though abit tiring.

so let's see, last week was a short week meaning days end early.. so everyone was happy! :) went ktv-ing on fri with huishan, claire, aud, itkz, zepeng, zhimin and nicholas. haha. nick and zp crashed lectures early in the morning, getting a lift from moi.. and on a rainy day, it was rather troublesome to drive, but rain wasn't gonna dampen our singing moods.. ;) i digress. anws, it was quite fun, esp since there were pple who know quite a lot of songs tt i know! haha.. and zp and hs are quite amusing. zp sang a duet with me, managing to hit all the high female notes. yet he was marvelling when hs sang a duet with claire and did the guy part quite effortlessly too. hmmm, we were trying to tell him, it happens to be quite a similar feat, but he is too busy worshipping hs.. ;) watching itkz attempt to read chinese was quite a blast too, though he seems to understand some of the words.. n him n aud actually like some chinese songs. ok i exaggerate.. ian prob likes 2 now or sth.. haha.

well, there have been lotsa tennis the past week as well.. was trying to get in some last minute practise for my starhub open tournament. well, i would say i'm disappointed in the results, kinda.. i won my 1st round match, then lost the 2nd round. the 1st round i played quite badly.. haha but somehow won. the 2nd round, i guess i was just not good enough. have to be kinda resigned - just have to practise more next time. though with so much work, and lack of practise partners (i guess they can't be too much better or too much worse?).. its not gonna happen anytime soon. bah.

yup, so tt's all in my life atm. sadly, nothing much. but holidays.. (can't believe i am so excited over a 1 week break -.-")

PS: i just remembered i wanted to blog some bimbotic things aud did. she was playing cai1 quan2 with pooja one day, and she said (loudly!) "ZERO!!" and put out 10 fingers... -.-"

and then in michelle's car, she was v amused tt michelle's car was moving and just randomly screamed, "eh, how come the car is moving?!" ... me and michelle were quite speechless..

arghh. my bumper has a big bump/scratch/dunno what! i dunno what i bumped, i've been driving zombified these few days. so stay out of my way lest i run over u unknowingly! :(

hmmm, sch's been short, though i dun feel like i've been having short days. maybe i'm tired from all the tennis i've been having? definitely having lecturers with thick incomprehensible accents DRONING on n on doesn't help.

well. i was gonna say sth, but i forgot. so ermm, forget abt this senseless post.. :p

PS: went to raffles city today.. its damn funky now! all the nice lil cafes and shops in the basement.. ah, i've always liked it there, now its even better. :)

this weekend has been pretty hectic... hmmm. was actually feeling quite dizzy due to exhaustion. its like if i stand up i have to grab on to something cuz not enough blood goes to my head or sth and i feel like i'm abt to topple. feel OLD. add tt to the fact my body is aching and creaking. boo.

soo... after sch on fri, i went to look for phones with my dad.. i think i would like the Dopod 838 pro. its feature packed. HSDPA (3.5G), wifi, cam with macro, slide out qwerty keyboard.. etc etc. WOW. its also 1398 dollars... haha.

after which, i joined nick! just passed his driving, and i was offering to let him drive cuz i was quite bushed after the long week in sch, but he said he would save it for later when he assumed i'd be drunk and he'd be sober (haha, he wishes).

had dinner at spizze with hs, claire, ws, nick.. well, technically not claire cuz poor girl had no luck with parking lots and took really long, and by the time she came, we had to leave for walawala to start queuing, cuz damn, the queue was mighty long.

nick didn't know what to order, so i gladly decided on a long island tea for him. at first he said, "huh, its non alcoholic??" boy was he wrong.. its quite strong and with his long alcohol tolerance, he turned sooo red! damn funny, look at the pix below.. haha. oops. i think i kinda knocked him out for most of the nite... poorthing!


well.. here's the rest of us.. hmmm, plus zhuang hui, which somehow didn't end up in any picture. haha. well, he was a random person i asked along.. lol. hmmm, the band was not bad.. though i think the singer should just be left to indian.. i think the other guy's voice just isn't as good?


well, yx, aaron and zh got lucky man. they were at the end of the queue, and i happened to see yingling and her friend april at the head of the queue when i went downstairs to see where they were. so i helped tt cut queue.. a not so nice thing to do.. but the queue wasn't moving.. bah.

left quite late, and yuanhong was at my house happily watching USO btw i got home. haha, a last min thing - decided to come over to watch tennis matches. but i was so tired, i kinda fell aslp by the time it was 5. so sad.. apparently the match was not bad! nvm... and the next morning, played real tennis which contributed to my exhaustion.

evening rolled round, and it was time for trifac bash at gotham penthouse. hmmm, bunch of us were supposed to go.. ruiming, itkz, pooja, fish, hs, mich, aud, claire.. haha. surprised all turned up.. too bad weili was busy with diane, else he could've seen some rather interesting things.. lol.

anw, the dance comp was ok, but not fantastic. think the story for me has to be michelle's alcoholism. gosh, she drank 3.5 house pours, snatching aud's and fish's free coupons, and then half of hs's drink. then 1.5 jugs of jim bean, a tequila shot, and cocktail. who knows what else went down. she was high and freaking tipsy by the end of all tt. and when mich drinks, she gulps it down.. :X haha. initially refusing to dance, she sucummbed after all the drinks, and well, danced, sorta.. ;) aud had to hold her, and then when she let go of mich, she would stumble and 'dance'!! haha. damn funny... then she went mad after going leaving the club. she took my wallet and went to buy drink at 7-11, and she actually thot it was hers -.-". then she kept asking me where fish was when she told me tt fish left, well, when she was sober tt is. then, she kept scolding hs for drinking half her drink... ahhh.. she was just crazy. lol.

didn't dance a lot cuz i was really tired and just felt like Zzzzz.. amazed tt i manage to go for supper at newton at abt 3am. i need to slp more soon... Zzzzz... haha.

admist the crazy schedule in sch.. we managed to pull of a surprise for weili! ;)

below is a demonstration of what happened.. its a carefully planned by officer zepeng and me, and then executed by audrey thefastreflex-bishibashi-and-halligalli-girl. yup. soo, what happened was tt we carefully planned for diane to ask to go over to weili's hse in the evening, so tt weili would wait in sch for diane to knock off then pick her up, giving us time to set up the surprise! ;) have to thank diane for being so agreeable, though, reluctantly.. ;)

so after sch, we went to buy cake, WHIPPED CREAM etc. and decorated his room as such! nice rite? haha.


then it was an excruciatingly long wait... and diane was supposed to msg us when they were getting of the highway, which she kinda forgot.. (must have been too engrossed in weili -.-").. but thanks to the helpful mum.. who alerted us to his approach, we, hid in his room, in silence. then suddenly, without warning, weili appeared in front of audrey.. but fear not.. lightning reflex audrey smashed the plate of cream squarely into weili's face, resulting in this.. :p

after which, we went for dinner. something quite dumb happened.. i realised my headlights were on, so aud was still at the car, so i asked her to turn of the headlights by turning off a knob.. and she went to look at the headlights, trying to feel for a knob... -.-" sighs.. i was quite speechless.

tt's a boliao note tt me, weili and aud made and pasted on abin's car one day after lunch.. ;) it apparently got transferred to jon teh's car and got him scolded by his dad. oops.


desserts from all over.. been eating so much desserts after sch.. the comforts of a car.. ;) i esp like tt chocolate thing on the top right.. its baked after u order it, and the cake is so fluffy, warm and light, with thick, rich chocolate oozing out after u take a bite. the raspberries and vanilla icecream with chopped pistachio is a nice finishing touch.. yummy! speaking of the desserts.. it happened to be this day when aaron, yx, claire and i went parkway.. and aaron's driving is SCARY! omg.. at the carpark, he initially turned the wrong way, going up the carpark instead of exiting downwards.. so we went a larger round.. and he almost tried doing the same thing again! and i said, "no the other way pls" and wham!! he veered his steering wheel abruptly the other way.. and wth! i told him no way he can make it, tt he'd bang the pillar, but he went ahead, up the curb, wham, against the pillar and down the curb. the damages? lots of paint came off. thank god the tyte didn't burst. man.. TRAUMATIC.

last but not least, its the sperm and condom aud likes in a shop.. :X

i think SOME pple.. or just ONE person H*RUN is being soo anal. i mean, wth, the emails he sends? i really dun understand how he can sit down and take so much effort to write those emails. furthermore, they are always against the president of medsoc, and in defense of the screwed up admin system of med (as in the pple paid to do these jobs). whats more, i dun understand why if he were so adamant on expressing his views, he doesn't wanna run for some sorta leadership position! he just sits on his ass and rebutts. wth. wth.

i know i'm not a model student, in fact, far from it. i do talk sometimes during lecture, and i fall aslp sometimes (but its really unintentional).. but i think feedback is feedback. you should be objective. what the hell is the point of feedback if u are gonna lie through your nose?!! i mean, TAI BEE CHOO?! come on guys.. she really freaking sucks. if not for me, u wun even have got a bloody lunch break on tt friday!! she makes no sense when she lectures, jumping all over the place, and brings up examples of statistical tests from NOWHERE! wth.. and pple give her 4 of 5?! i mean.. 2 is being generous already.. what are u all? little sedated lambs afraid of expressing any opinions, only caring abt clammoring for the notes in the front of the lecture. its just disgusting. i'm really speechless at the apathy of the pple tt are gonna be my future colleagues.

and to add to my point abt the shit admin system medicine has - no one in the bloody dean's office has replied to my email after a day. damn it. its not tt hard is it??!

ok.. enough of all this nonsense.. i'm actually having a nice day. retail therapy ;) during the 4h break, went to orchard, where dedrick was fawning over meryl streep's character in the devil wears prada, miranda! haha.. btw, i watched the show.. and i found it really enjoyable. its light hearted and interesting, and meryl streep's acting really just brought the whole movie to live... ;) but dedrick's strange obsession is, disturbing to saw the least.. ;) 'i wanna be like her' is like the mildest way i could put it ;)

but anw, i blew 150 on a bag, then after sch, went comex, where i spent another 90 on an ipod tuner, 100+ on ink, and 30 on dvds. oh man.. it kinda feels good to spend.. :) alritey.. time for US Open viewing.. so byebye!
